Terms & conditions
The practical terms that apply when you buy or use Braythorpe products and services.
Last updated: 30 September 2026
1. Who we are
Braythorpe Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 14431862, with registered office at 60 Tottenham Court Road, Suite 2444A, Fitzrovia, London W1T 2EW.
2. What Braythorpe provides
Braythorpe provides education guidance and support for families, training and consultancy for schools and organisations, digital resources, and Braythorpe Access. The exact scope and price of a service are those shown at the point of purchase or agreed in writing.
3. Braythorpe Access
Braythorpe Access is an annual membership from the purchase date and renews annually unless cancelled before renewal. It provides the benefits described on the Access page at the time of purchase. Founding 25 members who join at £95/year keep that founding annual rate while their membership remains continuously active. If a founding membership is cancelled and the member later rejoins, the membership price available at that time will apply. The standard price for new members after the Founding 25 is £145/year, unless Braythorpe changes the advertised price in future. It is designed for everyday education and school questions; it is not an emergency, legal, medical, diagnostic, therapeutic or statutory service.
Access does not guarantee an immediate response or 24/7 availability. Reasonable boundaries may be applied to the volume, nature or complexity of support so that the service remains workable and appropriate. Where a question requires substantial casework or a separate professional service, Braythorpe may recommend another service rather than treating it as part of Access.
4. Payment
Consumer payments may be processed by Stripe. School and organisational work may instead be invoiced. Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due before consumer services are supplied and according to the payment terms shown on an invoice for commissioned work.
5. Online cancellation rights
Where UK consumer cancellation rights apply, you will normally have 14 days from entering into a distance service contract to cancel. If you ask Braythorpe to begin a service during that period, you may be asked to make an express request and may have to pay for the part already supplied if you later cancel.
Where digital content is supplied immediately, Braythorpe may ask for your express consent to immediate supply and acknowledgement that the statutory cancellation right will be lost once supply begins. Your statutory rights are not affected.
6. Rescheduling and cancellations
Any specific cancellation or rescheduling arrangements for appointments, training or commissioned work will be shown when you book or agreed in writing. If Braythorpe cancels a paid booking and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the affected service will be refunded.
7. Digital resources and intellectual property
Braythorpe's website, guides, tools, training materials and other original content remain the intellectual property of Braythorpe Ltd unless stated otherwise. Resources are licensed for the use described when supplied. They must not be resold, republished or distributed commercially without permission.
8. Professional boundaries
Braythorpe provides education-focused guidance, training and consultancy. It does not replace legal advice, clinical or therapeutic services, diagnosis, children's social care, statutory SEND processes or a school's safeguarding duties. Decisions remain the responsibility of the relevant parent, school, organisation or statutory body.
9. Safeguarding and confidentiality
Information is treated appropriately and in line with our Privacy Notice. Confidentiality cannot be promised where information needs to be shared to protect a child or meet a legal obligation. See our Safeguarding Policy.
10. Service standard and liability
Braythorpe will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory consumer rights.
11. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, contact Braythorpe first and explain what happened and what resolution you are seeking. We will aim to acknowledge a complaint within five working days and deal with it fairly and promptly.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, nothing in this clause removes any mandatory rights you have to bring proceedings elsewhere where applicable.
